As 2024 comes to a close, I’m filled with gratitude for another year of growth and meaningful work at HELP. We’ve welcomed new faculty and affiliate members who are enriching our research and community collaborations. Our faculty and students have had great successes this year, contributing to impactful research, engaging in policy discussions, and presenting at important gatherings.
We launched our first MDI Provincial Summary and enhanced our EDI and MDI dashboards to make data more accessible and actionable. We’ve deepened our commitment to Indigenous data sovereignty, supported by the Strategic Investment Fund, and celebrated the launch of the Roots Circle event series with the Centre for Excellence in Indigenous Health to strengthen partnerships with Indigenous communities. The Compassionate Systems Leadership network has also expanded, with a new website offering resources to educators and leaders.
Through conferences, webinars, and community sessions, we’ve shared insights and connected with partners across the province. As we look ahead to 2025, we are excited to continue this momentum and set new priorities for equity, inclusion, and collaboration.
Thank you for your continued support and engagement. We hope you will read HELP’s full 2024 Year in Review below and we wish you a peaceful and joyful holiday season!
